When you take the quiz and buy a reading, we collect:

• Information you give us: your first name, birth date, your quiz answers (such as your goals and preferences), and your email address.
• Payment information: purchases are processed by our payment provider (Shopify). We do not receive or store your full card details — only confirmation that a payment succeeded and the order reference.
• Technical information: device and browser data, IP address, and usage information collected through cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising.

How we use your information

• To generate and deliver your personalized reading.
• To send you your reading and, if you don't opt out, occasional related emails. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• To process payments and provide customer support.
• To measure and improve the service, and to understand which ads and content bring visitors who find the reading useful.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Your City Awaits, and only as needed:

• Shopify — payment processing and order management.
• Resend — sending your reading and emails.
• Upstash — securely storing your chart and order status so we can deliver what you bought.
• Analytics and advertising providers (such as Vercel Analytics, PostHog, Meta, and Google) — to measure traffic and the performance of our ads. These providers may set cookies.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to measure advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some features. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

Your City Awaits is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
